What is PSA?
PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) is the world's largest provider of trading card authentication and grading. Since its founding in 1991, PSA has graded cards on a scale from 1 to 10 and sealed them in a tamper-evident case (slab). A high PSA grade builds trust when buying and selling, protects against counterfeits and makes cards easier to trade.

What changes for collectors?
- Shorter routes: shipping within the EU instead of to the USA.
- Lower costs: cheaper shipping and no customs within the EU.
- Less risk: shorter transport routes and fewer transfers.
- Euros instead of dollars: no exchange-rate risk.
For the European market, this means more graded cards in circulation, more trust in trading and more transparent prices. Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Lorcana all benefit.
How to prepare your cards
- Review your collection: pick high-value or meaningful cards that are in very good condition.
- Check condition: inspect centering, corners, edges and surface under different light angles. Even small flaws cost points, and the price gap between PSA 9 and PSA 10 is often large.
- Clean carefully: remove dust and fingerprints with a clean microfiber cloth, without cleaning agents.
- Pack safely: put each card in a soft sleeve and then in a card saver. Card savers are better than toploaders because the card suffers less when taken out.
- Submit online: enter your cards in your PSA account, choose the service level and state the value. PSA provides the shipping address during submission.
