30 years of the Pokémon TCG in brief
The Pokémon Trading Card Game launched in Japan in 1996. Since then, hundreds of expansions have been released, from the first Base Set to today's series. The 25th birthday in 2021 brought the Celebrations set. The 30th birthday is now marked by 30th Celebration, with one first: for the first time, a set launched in Japan and internationally on the same day.

Buying tips
- Pick a language: Japanese and English products have different contents. Japanese boosters have 6 cards, English ones 5 plus a Basic Energy.
- Store sealed products well: if you collect sealed, keep products dry, cool and out of the light.
- No price forecasts: nobody can reliably predict how prices will develop. Buy what you enjoy.
Conclusion
